Episode 8: Darkness and Shadow Work

Merry meet to one and all! It feels like forever since our last sharing! And yet, so very little time has passed in the grand scheme of things. Episode 8 starts off rather familiarily with my sharing a variety of things I've learned and a bunch of shout outs to wonderful podcasts who have been spreading the word of pennies. So many fun ways to take that, but I am supposed to be focussing on show notes. If you want to know who, you'll need to listen to the show, and right until the very end, too :) Our first break features Dragonfly by Kan'nal off of their album Myth Magic and a bumper by the amazing, the stupendous, the fiery Fire Lyte over at Inciting a Riot. And my notes deleted themselves form last night, so here's re-adding on the fly.  During the main segment, instead of talking about Widdershins circles and dark moon workings as I intended, we delve into darkness and shadow work, what it is and why it's important to do it.  I mention a favourite book for this topic, Dark Moon Mysteries by Timothy Roderick. During the second break we learn that Episode 8 of Pennies is brought to us by the tarot the eight of spears and the runestone nied/nadir.  And we enjoy a promo from the Wigglian Way.
