Well, it's been nearly a pandemic since last we chatted.  But huzzah!  It is happening!  It's a short episode because I'm exploring something new and weird.  This discussion on Arcanum (what is Arcanum?  well, listen and learn and discover that it's nothing new, but perhaps conveniently labelled) was not only recorded for here, as audio, but also livestreamed on YouTube! 

That's right, if you're inclined you can watch me babble instead of just listening to it.  And yeah, it's a rough episode because being watched is so much stranger than just being listened to.

You could say that this episode is a part 2 to episode 49, expanding into some specifics around places to employ that REAL connected communication.  But since it was planned first, is it really part 2?  It's a more tangential relationship, I think, though still around communication.

We discuss 3 invitations/challenges on communication:

1) accepting apologies

2) letting people be in a difficult space, holding space for them and reflecting

3) witnessing people as they truly are

Yes, this podcast episode is about exploring a potential new working tool:  Treasure.  A little commentary on holding two realities at the same time for exploring and making space for change happens too.  Okay, some other randomish other commentaries also happen (like the structure of existence), but mostly, this is about treasure.

I could try and tell you what this episode is about, to entice you into the rambling madness that is, well, this.  But that would suggest that there was intense focus and intentionality to what was done...and I feel like that is a stretch.  

I get into my terror and anxiety that sabotaged my life choices, then take a left into flipping some standard witchy perspectives and finish with a slide into the end of the world as we know it and the beginning of exploring ways to engage with that.

'Tis the dark time of the year (for us Northern hemispherers), a time to go internal, to rest with our inner darkness, or in my case, grief.  We are not well equipped in modern north american society to deal with grief, yet here we are, living it.  Exploring that, the important power of perspective and a few other things be the topic of this episode.

Well, just goes to show that we never know what the future will bring.  Welcome to Episode 40 of Pennies in the Well.  The episode that wasn't sure it would ever be.

Episode 38 looks at the relationship we have with our bodies, starting from our sexual connection to ourselves and travelling from there as well as a Mission Magical segment on reflecting on all the feel good moments of the day.
